BARISTA

Are you interested in learning about coffee and tea preparation or building on an existing foundation? 

We are seeking 2 Baristas who possess the following skills, traits, and sensibilities:

-Passionate about coffee and hospitality
-Appreciation for the process of making a great cup of coffee
-Previous experience as a Barista
-Knows how to work hard while having fun
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to execute latte art and a willingness to build towards more complex final products
-Detail oriented and reliable
-Works well in the spotlight
-ServSafe certification a plus

You will be responsible for:

-Taking pride in providing top-tier customer service
-Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards
-Dialing in and maintain quality standards for espresso and all other brew methods
-Point of sale operation and cash handling
-Maintain quality standards, cleanliness, and organization of work area and equipment 
-Carrying out opening/closing duties
-Maintaining familiarity with daily menus and specials to help our guests make informed decisions
-Participate in ongoing demonstrations and education related to. coffee              

Pay: $14-$18/hr + tips

All Pass the Past Coffee team members receive paid training and employee discount. Full-time employees are eligible for PTO.

SALES ASSOCIATE

Do you have an appreciation for textiles? Are you comfortable advising customers on incorporating vintage merchandise into their modern wardrobes?

We are seeking a part-time Sales Associate who possesses the following skills, traits, and sensibilities:

-Knowledge of fabrics as well as weaving and knitting techniques
-Knows how to work hard while having fun
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Previous retail  and point of sale experience
-Ability to educate our customers on garment construction and history
-Detail oriented and reliable
-Works well in the spotlight

You will be responsible for:

-Taking pride in providing top-tier customer service
-Demonstrating to customers how to use and style our merchandise
-Remaining curious and knowledgable about fashion and textiles
-Maintaining quality standards and cleanliness of work area, sales floor, and fitting room
-Point of sale operation and cash handling
-Working with owner on maintaining stock levels and merchandising sales floor
-Carrying out opening/closing duties

Pay: $15/hr
